DESCRIPTION:Open to 1st – 5th grade.  Nature Homes and Families –  Join us for an exciting exploration into the world of animal homes and families!\n \n  \n\nThursday\, February 26 @ 4 p.m. Learn how birds survive the cold and how we can help with crafts and games.\nThursday\, March 26 @ 4 p.m. After a short lesson on why evergreens stay green\, they explore branches with magnifiers\, compare needles vs. scales\, and smell different conifer sprigs. They create a simple evergreen sachet or “winter forest sensory bag” to take home.\nThursday\, April 23 @ 4 p.m. Enjoy a story and activities about forest creatures and build a house to attract some magic.\n\nDisclaimer: All aspects of in-person programming are subject to change based on health crisis guidelines and procedures.
