Open to 1st – 5th grade. Nature Homes and Families – Join us for an exciting exploration into the world of animal homes and families!
- Thursday, February 26 @ 4 p.m. Learn how birds survive the cold and how we can help with crafts and games.
- Thursday, March 26 @ 4 p.m. After a short lesson on why evergreens stay green, they explore branches with magnifiers, compare needles vs. scales, and smell different conifer sprigs. They create a simple evergreen sachet or “winter forest sensory bag” to take home.
- Thursday, April 23 @ 4 p.m. Enjoy a story and activities about forest creatures and build a house to attract some magic.
