- Thursday, January 8 @ 5:30 p.m. Holiday Romance Edition – Start the new year with a special double-themed book club! In January we’re diving into “From Page to Screen” with Mickey 7 by Edward Ashton, the sci-fi novel behind the upcoming film Mickey 17. We’re also keeping the winter spirit going with our Holiday Romance pick, The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year by Holly Blackstone, a cozy and festive mystery-romance. (Spanish interpreter present)
- Thursday, February 5 @ 5:30 p.m. Join us as we discuss power, choice, and the illusion of safety in a dystopian world where survival is entertainment, and comfort comes at a cost. Book selection: “The Compound by Aisling Rawie.”
- Thursday, March 5 @ 5:30 p.m. Enjoy a fun, laugh-filled book club discussion of a smart and charming romantic comedy. Book selection: “Funny Story” by Emily Henry.
- Thursday, April 2 @ 5:30 p.m. Angels, Demons, & Tea – Experience the apocalypse from a decidedly non-human point of view in “Good Omens,” a humorous and imaginative novel seen through the perspectives of an angel and a demon who have grown rather fond of Earth. Join us for a discussion on perspective, identity, and what it means to be human when the storytellers aren’t.
